                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF PORTIONS OF LEE HIGHWAY,
                   SHALLOWFORD ROAD, NAPIER DRIVE, AND THE
                   TOTAL CLOSURE OF PINE GROVE DRIVE ON
                   THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1991 FROM 8:00 A.M.
                   TO 10:00 A.M. FOR "SPORTS BARN-EAST RACE"
                   SPONSORED BY THE SPORTS BARN-EAST AND THE
                   AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound curb lane on Lee Highway from 

       Van Ness Road to Shallowford Road, the temporary closure of the
       eastbound curb lane of Shallowford Road from Lee Highway to 
Napier
       Drive, the temporary closure of the southbound curblane of Napier 

       Drive from Shallowford Road to Pine Grove Drive, and the 
temporary
       total closure of Pine Grove Drive from Napier Drive to the end of 

       Pine Grove Drive on Thursday, November 28, 1991 from 8:00 A.M. to 

       10:00 A.M. P.M. for the presentation of a fun run and jogging 
race
       under the sponsorship of the Sports Barn-East and the American
       Cancer Society provided that the sponsor shall set out traffic
       cones, and advance warning signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency vehicles.
